Build your team’sown 3D map

Most maps are months or years old. Your map updates with every new video.

Hours of footage become minutes of understanding.

02Map

Every video your unit uploads updates it.

Plan the approach in the scene before anyone goes.

Understand your target in minutes.

Stop scrubbing video.

Right now your footage is in a folder, your map is in a different app, and your plan is in a chat. Here the scene sits on your map inside one editor, where you measure it, mark it up, plan on it and train on it. It renders in the browser, so you install nothing.

02 / Capabilities

Everything works
in one scene.

You do not need a dedicated mapping flight. Upload footage your team already shot and get a scene you can measure, mark up and share.

Analyze

Video gives you the camera’s path. The scene gives you every angle onto what that path covered.

We build the scene from the video itself, whether it shows terrain, interiors or a single object. It stands at true size on real coordinates, so a distance you measure in the scene is the distance on the ground. You can look from angles the drone never flew.

  • Measure distance and height
  • Angles the drone never flew
  • Many clips, one scene

02

Map

The issued map is old. The ground has changed.

Today you send a screenshot and a grid reference, and everyone opens it picturing something different. Here the whole team works in one shared scene, with units, routes, objectives and zones marked in place. Each new recording adds to it, and the map stays under your control.

  • Fresh video, fresh map
  • Annotate and plan in place
  • Send a scene, not a screenshot

03

Plan

The first time your operator sees the objective should not be on the mission.

The scene holds true scale, so your operator can fly the approach at the size it will be on the day, past the obstacles that showed up in the measurements. The FPV simulator is in development.

  • Rehearse the actual approach

04 / Applications

What teams do with the scene.

One reconstruction covers all three. You do not rebuild the site for each job.

01

Situational awareness and route planning

Build the route from drone or open source video and brief it from the scene itself before anyone moves.

02

Damage and incident assessment

Compare reconstructions of the same place before and after to measure exactly what changed.

03

Documentation and evidence

Keep a 3D record of the site that anyone can take measurements from later. Photos get argued over. Measurements get checked.

05 / Frequently asked

Questions.

Aerial, ground, wearable, vehicle and open source: we take all of it, and it all lands in one scene.

The camera has to move through the space, not pan from one spot, and we can only rebuild what it actually saw. Beyond that we set no requirements on speed, angle, height or distance. Better footage makes a better scene.

Yes. Proprietary map layers sit alongside the reconstructed scene in the editor.

Anyone who needs to measure a real place from video of it.

Areal Vision is in Beta. The units testing it now decide what we build next.

We build Areal Vision with the support of NetworkVC Defense. Access during Beta is free for participating units and services.

Beta is open to Ukraine’s Defence Forces and public-safety services, both individual service members and whole units. Write to pidtrymka@arealvision.ee and tell us what you work on. For collaboration, careers, investment and media, write to contact@arealvision.ee.
